Course Overview

An in-person course designed to help clinicians strengthen and refine their knowledge and skills in vascular ultrasound. Led by expert faculty, this immersive activity provides practical instruction in carotid, extremity, and abdominal vascular ultrasound, with a focus on real-world application and clinical relevance.

Participants will review and enhance their understanding of ultrasound scanning techniques, apply diagnostic criteria, and identify key sonographic findings across a range of vascular studies. Special emphasis will be placed on accurate interpretation and the creation of clear, structured reports that support clinical decision-making. Whether you're building foundational skills or looking to reinforce existing competencies, this course offers a valuable opportunity to stay current with evolving best practices in vascular imaging.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Enhance their ability to perform vascular ultrasound using appropriate techniques.

  • Apply current diagnostic criteria to identify common and clinically significant vascular pathologies.

  • Identify key sonographic findings that support accurate interpretation of vascular ultrasound exams.

  • Produce clear, accurate, and clinically useful reports that effectively communicate ultrasound findings and guide patient care.

  • Recognize opportunities to improve consistency and quality in the performance and reporting of vascular ultrasound across different practice settings.

Who Should Attend?

This course is designed for sonographers, technologists, cardiologists, radiologists, vascular surgeons, and other health care providers. The course is also designed to meet the needs of both early-career professionals and experienced clinicians.
