Course Overview
This focused advanced course provides attendees with practical, case-based insights into the critical role of ultrasound in the evaluation of patients with endometriosis and rare adnexal malignancies. The lecturers are internationally renowned experts who have made significant contributions to the field of gynecologic ultrasound. They have extensive experience and are at the forefront of advancements in the field.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
Apply a systematic ultrasound approach to identify key pelvic anatomical landmarks relevant to the detection of endometriosis and adhesions.
Interpret a range of sonographic findings to distinguish common presentations of endometriosis across different disease patterns.
Assess the magnitude of the risk of malignization in endometriomas and recognize ultrasound signs of malignization in endometriomas.
Recognize some of the most common rare adnexal malignancies based on their typical clinical presentation and ultrasound features.
Who Should Attend?
Designed for all providers using ultrasound in gynecologic care, such as practicing sonographers, obstetricians, gynecologists, family practitioners, infertility specialists (REI), gynecologic oncologists, radiologists, nurses, residents/fellows, and other clinicians.
