John Stephen Pellerito, MD, FACR, FAIUM, FSRU

Dr. John S. Pellerito is Professor of Radiology and Science Education at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and Vice Chairman of the Department of Radiology at Northwell Health. He also serves as the Director of the Peripheral Vascular Laboratory at Northwell Health. Dr. Pellerito is Co-Director of the SONICS ultrasound program at the medical school and Program Director for the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program. He also serves as Medical Director for the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program at Northwell Health and Cardiovascular Sonography program at Molloy College. Dr. Pellerito graduated from New York University before receiving his M.D. from Albany Medical College. He served as faculty at Yale-New Haven Hospital before his current positions at Northwell Health. He is the co-editor of Introduction to Vascular Ultrasonography, in its 7th edition. He is the author of multiple original articles and book chapters. Dr. Pellerito is in great demand as a speaker both nationally and internationally and held multiple editorial appointments including Radiology, RadioGraphics and Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine. He was a board examiner for the American Board of Radiology. He is President-Elect for the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) and currently President for the Board of Directors for the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission for Vascular Testing (IAC).
