Course Overview

This course reviews the essentials of musculoskeletal ultrasound and intervention, combining lectures, live scanning demonstrations, and supervised scanning sessions with models. The course content is organized by extremity joints. Each segment of the course begins with a live scanning demonstration, which reviews anatomy and scanning protocols, and provides a comprehensive review of each joint. This is followed by lectures focusing on specific topics including ultrasound-guided procedures, allowing a more in-depth review. Participants will then practice their ultrasound scanning techniques with models, reviewing the scanning protocol supervised by instructors while having the opportunity to use different ultrasound equipment from several companies.

Who Should Attend?

This masterclass is designed for: Physicians, sonographers, diagnostic radiologists, physical therapists, and other subspecialists with an interest in MSK ultrasound. The course will benefit clinicians who are building their experience in musculoskeletal ultrasound and establishing an imaging protocol. Additionally, the focused in-depth lectures, including discussion of ultrasound-guided procedures, and supervised scanning sessions, are aimed at those advancing their musculoskeletal ultrasound skills.
