This course is designed to enhance participants’ ability to accurately assess chorionicity and amnionicity, recognize complications unique to multifetal pregnancies, and apply appropriate diagnostic and procedural approaches to genetic testing and fetal therapy. Attendees will also gain practical strategies for optimizing imaging protocols, workflow efficiency, and delivery planning in twin and higher-order gestations.
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
Differentiate chorionicity, amnionicity, and associated complications in multifetal gestations using sonographic and Doppler findings.
Evaluate diagnostic approaches and procedural considerations for genetic testing, selective reduction, and fetal therapy in twin and higher-order pregnancies.
Implement effective imaging protocols and workflow strategies to optimize scanning, documentation, and delivery planning in complex multiple gestations.
