Lori Strachowski, MD

Dr. Strachowski served as Director of Ultrasound at San Francisco General Hospital for over 18 years with primary interests in gynecologic and obstetrical ultrasound. She also specializes in breast imaging and co-founded the Avon Comprehensive Breast Imaging Center at SFGH where she served as Medical Director and Women’s Imaging Fellowship Director for 10 years. Dr. Strachowski has a passion for teaching and has received numerous teaching and clinical excellence awards including the Excellence in Teaching Award by the UCSF Haile T. Debas Academy of Medical Educators, Hideyo Minagi UCSF Radiology Resident Teacher-of-the-Year Award, Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound Ana Lev-Toaff award and is a 3-time recipient of the Clinical Consultant-of-the-Year award by the UCSF Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. At present, she serves as the Chair of O-RADS for the American College of Radiology.
