Dr. Detti is the Division and Fellowship Director of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Baylor College of Medicine and the Chief of Reproductive Endocrinology Services at the Pavilion for Women at Texas Children's Hospital, in Houston, Texas.
She has been interested in early pregnancy and gynecological ultrasound for more than 20 years and has published her research in peer-reviewed journals, including the JUM.
She is the current Chair of Imaging in Reproductive Medicine Special the Interest Group for the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and is part of the Task Force UPAC and the secretary of the Gynecologic Ultrasound Community at the AIUM. She is also an Associate Editor for Human Reproduction and is a member of the ACOG Editorial Board for the congress’ educational publication PROLOG.
She has taught several ultrasound courses for ASRM, AIUM, Baylor College of Medicine, Cleveland Clinic, and the University of Tennessee.
Her main ultrasound interests are:
- Hysterosonography for detection of cavity and tubal abnormalities
- Endometrial pathology
- Diagnosis of Mullerian anomalies with specific interest in uterine septum diagnosis and management
- Early obstetrics markers for prediction of pregnancy loss
