Bill Medford, RDMS, RMSKS, is a Pacific NW-based MSK sonographer. Mr. Medford began his career in 1978, trained at Oregon Health Science University, and helped launch the radiology-based ultrasound department at Salem Hospital in Salem, OR, in 1979. He has said it was his good fortune, and he’s forever grateful to have received his early MSK US training from Drs. VanHolsbeeck, Bouffard, Craig, and Jacobson at Henry Ford Hospital in 1998. He’s been motivated since by many other experts in MSK US, including Dr. Lev Nazarian. Since 2010, Dr Medford’s focus has been entirely on MSK US skills training. He now lives semi-retired near Seattle, WA, with his wife of 48 years, Kathy, and their beautiful, special -needs daughter, Jenny (45). Much of their time is now centered around being present in the lives of their four grandchildren, with frequent rounds of golf whenever possible. He continues to enjoy teaching/consulting whenever opportunities arise.
