Course Description

Prominent leaders in the field of diagnostic ultrasound will present the latest principles and techniques in obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound during this intense 3-day seminar.

Target Audience

Physicians, sonographers, and other health care providers who use, or are learning obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound.

Learning Objective(s)

After participating in the activity, you should be able to:

  • Apply new diagnostic techniques in patient care;
  • Explore new approaches and treatments in obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound; and
  • Compare and relate ultrasound knowledge and skills with peers.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™

The American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Designation Statement

The AIUM designates this live activity for 14.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

AIUM Ultrasound Practice Accreditation

ARRT Category A Credit

The AIUM is a Recognized Continuing Education Evaluation Mechanism (RCEEM) for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). The AIUM is the owner and sponsor of this activity. This activity is approved by the AIUM for 14.5 ARRT Category A credits. This CE activity may be available in multiple formats or from different CE sponsors. ARRT does not allow CE activities (e.g., Internet courses, home study programs, directed readings, live lectures) to be repeated for CE credit in the same CE biennium.
