Letter from Directors
Dear Colleagues,
We are writing to you today to share our enthusiasm for the upcoming Advanced Gynecologic Imaging course being held at the AIUM headquarters in Laurel, Maryland, on June 10–11 and to encourage you to consider attending.
This 1.5-day course is the first of its kind in the United States, hosted by the AIUM who is partnering with the International Ovarian Tumor Analysis group (IOTA). The IOTA group is a multidisciplinary research group, based in Leuven, Belgium, that has collaborated with more than 50 centers all over the world. They have the largest cohort to date of patients with adnexal masses and have hosted a multitude of evidence-based projects to describe and classify adnexal masses as benign or malignant prior to surgery. Saturday will be dedicated to the advanced ultrasound evaluation of adnexal masses using IOTA and ORADS models.
