Q: Are there any registration cut-off dates or times?
A: Register by 11:59 pm ET on December 5, 2023, to take advantage of the discounted rates before they disappear. We will accept registrations for the Preseminar and Seminar through the course dates including onsite at the Registration desk located at the Asbury Registration in the Yacht Club Convention Center unless the course becomes sold out. We will update the registration website if the course sells out.
Q: What is the refund policy if I have to cancel?
A: Cancellations must be submitted by e-mail to email@example.com by January 11, 2024. There is a $250 cancellation fee. After January 11, 2024, no refunds will be issued. If you cancel, you will not receive access to the recordings or CME credit.

A: In the event that the program is canceled, seminar registration fees will be refunded; however, the AIUM is not responsible for any travel or hotel costs you may incur.

A: Unfortunately, no. Registration, attendance, and access to food and beverages are exclusively available for participants who have registered for the Preseminar and/or Seminar. While you are welcome to travel with guests, we kindly request that no guests accompany you to the Conference Center where the event takes place. Rest assured, the Seminar concludes early each day, giving you ample time to join your guests and explore the resort and its surroundings.

For those attending in person, since there is no electricity available at each table/chair, if you choose to bring an electronic device, please ensure it is adequately charged beforehand, so that you can use it throughout the event. Q: How do I claim my CME credits for the Seminar?
A: Instructions to claim your CME credits for the course are included in the syllabus. Please note that you will not be able to claim your credits until after the course has ended.
Q: What if I get sick right before or during the Seminar?
A: We ask that anyone who is sick to not participate in the in-person event.

Q: Are hotel accomidations included in my registration fees for the Seminar?
A: The registration fees for the Seminar do not include hotel accommodations. You will need to make them separately using the reservation link provided in the confirmation email once the Seminar registration is received.
Q: I just registered for the Seminar and I haven’t received my confirmation email with the reservation link and code.
A: The system will send the receipt out within 5–10 minutes after the registration is submitted and the confirmation email soon follows. Please be sure to check your Spam folder as sometimes they will end up there. If you do not receive your confirmation email within 30 minutes of submitting your registration please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Q: What is the group rate at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Resort? What does it include?
A: The group rate is $270 USD plus taxes per night for single or double occupancy. Additional occupants will be charged $25 per person, per night. Included in these rates are access to Complimentary Disney transportation to their Theme Parks via Bus, Boat, or Skyliner; free Wi-Fi access in the hotel, complimentary self-parking, and complimentary access to their on-site Fitness Center and multiple pools located at the Yacht and Beach Resort.
Q: By what date do I need to book my hotel room?
A: The AIUM suggests you reserve your hotel room as soon as possible. Only a select number of rooms are contracted and guaranteed at the discounted rate. When those discounted rooms are gone, additional rooms at the discounted rate may not be available. If the room block does not sell out, the reservation cut-off date is Monday, January 22, 2024. After that date, rooms may be available; however, Disney will sell them at their standard rate (ie no group discount will be available). We suggest booking as soon as possible.
Q: Is Wi-Fi available in the conference center?
A: Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the conference center. No code is necessary—just choose Public Space Guest Wi-Fi (Disney). The Wi-Fi works well for basic Internet browsing, checking email, or posting to your favorite social network.
Q: How much does it cost to park at the resort?
A: Standard overnight self-parking is complimentary if you are participating in the Seminar. Please note that Disney has a ‘guard house’ at the front of their drive. They will ask for identification and purpose. Please reference that you are attending the AIUM Advanced OB & GYN Seminar.
Q: Will transportation be provided to and from the Seminar if I stay off-site?
A: Transportation will not be provided to attendees staying off-site.
Q: Will transportation be provided to and from the Airport?
A: No, Disney no longer offers complimentary airport transportation. You can book with Mears Connect (bus service from Orlando International Airport to Walt Disney World Resorts), take a taxi or a rideshare (such as Uber or Lyft), or book private transportation.
Q: What transportation is available while staying at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort?
A: The following complimentary transportation is available:
Travel via the new aerial gondola system, Disney Skyliner, with a station located at the International Gateway at Epcot®.
Cruise along on a Friendship Boat for water transportation to Epcot®, Disney’s Hollywood Studios®, and Disney’s BoardWalk.
Take the Disney bus transportation from the Disney’s Yacht Club Resort bus stop to theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs.
Q: Are there discounted park tickets available for the dates of the meeting?
A: Yes! A benefit of having our event at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort for hotel guests is access to exclusive Disney park tickets such as partial day tickets. You can choose from an after-1-pm ticket or after-5-pm ticket during the meeting dates and the tickets can only be purchased by using this link.
Q: What else can I do at Walt Disney World that does not require park tickets?
A: There are a lot of options for entertainment at Walt Disney World that do not include Theme Park admission. Directly across the Lake from the Yacht and Beach Club Resort is Disney’s Boardwalk. This Boardwalk boasts multiple dining options as well as entertainment at Atlantic Dance Hall or Jellyrolls, a fun dueling-piano bar. Disney Springs (formerly called Downtown Disney) has a number of entertainment, food, and shopping options as well. You can take Disney bus transportation to get there. Also motorized boat rentals and miniature golf are within walking distance.
Q: Is there anything else to do in or around Orlando besides Disney World or Theme Parks?
A: Yes! Orlando is a sizable city in Central Florida. While the attractions bring in over 60 million visitors, the great Orlando area has a population of over 2.5 million residents. You can find a multitude of additional events, activities from eco-friendly tours and outings to theater, cultural events, and sporting events.
