An advanced course focusing on gynecologic ultrasound imaging with lectures on IOTA (International Ovarian Tumor Analysis) terms and definitions; descriptors and pattern recognition; how to apply The Simple Rules, IOTA ADNEX model; along with O-RADS (Ovarian-Adnexal-Reporting and Data System) ultrasound characterization, case examples, and case presentations.
Physicians, sonographers, students, and other health care providers who are interested in a new skill set and internationally recognized certification in advanced gynecologic imaging.
After participating in the activity, you should be able to:
Evaluate an adnexal mass using the International Ovarian Tumor Analysis data-supported terms, definitions, and models.
Identify, describe, and evaluate an adnexal mass using transvaginal ultrasound to discriminate between benign and malignant tumors.
Learn new techniques to evaluate patients with presumed endometriosis and or adenomyosis.
Identify deep endometriosis to aid in surgical planning with live scanning.
