Editor-in-Chief Search: Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine

The American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM), the association for medical ultrasound, announces the search for an editor-in-chief of the Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine. The editor-in-chief will provide editorial direction and overall guidance for the journal, including ensuring quality reviews of all manuscripts and adherence to an orderly editorial process and schedule. A medical degree, experience in diagnostic ultrasound, and experience serving on the editorial board of a peer-reviewed medical journal are desired. Candidates must have demonstrable leadership ability and a record of academic excellence. The new editor will officially assume the position in January 2019 and will work with the current editor during a transitional phase beginning in July 2018.
