Registration is now open for the 2013 AIUM Annual Convention and Preconvention Program to be held in New York, New York, April 6-10, 2013, at the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel. The convention program features courses and sessions tailored to provide in-depth presentations of ultrasound issues and reflect emerging topics within the many disciplines of ultrasound, giving attendees the opportunity to earn up to 38 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ (accepted by the ARDMS) or ARRT Category A Credits.

The Preconvention Program will be held on April 6, offering 7 courses, and includes a session designed especially for medical students, allowing attendees to earn up to 7.5 CME credits. The Annual Convention begins Sunday, April 7. Information will be provided in a variety of interactive learning formats, including Hands-on Sessions, Three- and Four-Dimensional Volume Data Set Manipulation Sessions, Comprehensive Refresher Sessions, and Ultrasound First Sessions. Ultrasound First, an endeavor devoted to education and increasing awareness of the effectiveness of ultrasound in enhancing patient care, is a prominent theme for this years convention.
