Contrast Enhanced Ultrasound in Remote and Under-Resourced Areas: Implementation Challenges and Potential Benefits

This video provides an update on approved indications for contrast-enhanced ultrasound, and experts discuss ways to successfully navigate the approval process for ultrasound contrast agents with agencies around the globe.

Contrast Enhanced Ultrasound (CEUS) has been incorporated in clinical practice internationally. CEUS is increasingly used in both cardiac and non-cardiac diagnosis throughout the world and the collective experience of physicians could be
particularly important in countries where different applications are being introduced. The regulatory approval of agents is a critical step in the process both in locations where ultrasound is widely used and where ultrasound is the first imaging modality
to reach more rural settings. Each of these important stages of CEUS development is represented in presentations from a group of international speakers.

This video features 7 speakers, including a Q & A, and is 1:53 in length.
