CME Activities
Participants of AIUM's CME activities are eligible to earn AMA/PRA category 1 CME credits (also accepted by the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonography [ARDMS]) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) category A credits.
Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine (JUM) CME Self-Study TestsThe Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine (JUM) provides 2 or 3 CME self-study tests in every issue. AIUM members may submit their tests online for free; nonmembers are charged a fee of $20.00 for sonographers, or $40.00 for physicians. CME tests are valid for 3 years after the publication date, thus offering members more choices and access to up to 84 CME credits at anytime. CME certificates are e-mailed for all passing tests without delay.
Video ProgramsA variety of CME video programs on specialty topics in ultrasound are available. Up to 5 viewers can earn CME credits with the purchase of a video program and completion of the accompanying evaluation and/or CME test. Additional sets of 5 evaluations and/or CME tests are available for $50! This option is great for ultrasound departments and schools that have many ultrasound professionals who need CME credit.
